How the Document Capture System Works

Documents can be “printed“ from any Windows-based program as well as many other systems to the MVi Document Capture printer, and the image is immediately captured and stored in the ECM system.

Users can then use the DCS interface to view any document captured through the DCS printer, obtain signatures, apply date stamps, add text, and apply other annotations anywhere on the page. The user simply selects the MVi DCS print driver which captures the print stream and creates an image which is then accessible in the Document Capture System.
