Most if not all our customers elect to have Software Support Contracts. This includes a toll free number with unlimited phone support to our office in Salt Lake City. In addition all our Support Technicians have nationwide cellular phones where they can be reached almost anywhere and at any time. Software Support also includes software updates so there is no nickel and diming for new features and enhancements. If an on-site visit is required, the customer covers the cost of the travel expense and MVi's on-site daily rate.
MVi provides Hardware Maintenance for scanners. If a scanner fails MVi will overnight to your site a loaner scanner. The customer will ship back to MVi their scanner using regular ground shipping. We repair your scanner and return it to you. This way you will always have your scanner. Repairs and shipping from MVi to the Customer is covered under the Maintenance program. Customer pays for shipping from their site to MVi. By doing it this way we are able to minimize the annual maintenance fee and allows the customer to always get their original scanner back.
